Linda A. Poole has ministered at High Street Christian Academy since 1980.She served as a teacher for 13 years before becoming the third principal of the academy. She was preceded by Rev. A. Donald Fredlund, and Rev. David Griffith, (now Pastor Dave). Linda took a two year sabbatical at which time, the then pastor of High Street Church of God, Rev.Van. A. Copeland was acting principal.

Linda Poole has always worked with children. In addition to her work at High Street, she has taught Bible in her home as well as teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School in various churches.

Linda Poole holds degrees in Education from Temple University, Bible & Leadership from Philadelphia College of Bible, and most recently, Christian Counseling with a Certificate of Advanced Specialization for Professional Counseling from Philadelphia Biblical University. She holds membership in the American Association of Christian Counselors and its division, Black African-American Christian Counselors.

She also worked on a degree in Ministry from Moody Bible Institute. Although she came within 1 project of completing this degree, what she learned and experienced helped to shape her ministry tremendously.

Linda was called into the ministry and preached her first sermon at an HSCA Academy Day in March of 1996. A highlight of her life was when she conducted an outdoor evangelistic service and led her father to the Lord a year before his death. Linda has also served the High Street Church of God as Assistant Pastor since 2006.

After going through an extremely hard time in her life, Linda has adopted a new life verse: I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord, Psalm 118:17.
